My first day since PDG Lion Jim Chandler's death that we have been distributing brooms, in his memory. I know he will be proud that the tradition of selling brooms will continue, as long as we can.

PDG Lion Jim Chandler's service will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wadesborro on the 18th at 2pm. There will be a rosary service at 1pm. The reception will be at the church hall following.

Remembering the life and legacy of a truly dedicated Lion, PDG Lion Jim Chandler. Let us all keep Lois, and their family in our thoughts and prayers. After a recent brief illness, he passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025. According to his daughter, a service to celebrate his life will be announced soon.

Our club has lost a roaring Lion. He will be missed by all that knew him.
