Merry Minis is looking for help. We are a 501c3 looking for barn help. This is a great way for high school or college students to get in some volunteer hours. It is also possible to get hours at our sister facility, Rebecca Boone Dressage for riding lessons or pay. Jobs include feeding and handling horses and ponies, cleaning stalls, and general help. No extreme heavy lifting but must be able to lift feed bags and hay bales. Horse experience preferred but possibility for training the right person. This is a small private facility. We also serve the community with equine therapy. A NO drama, honest, kind and conscientious person is what we are looking for.

To end the exciting week of camp the Merry Minis took a trip to JRs rodeo and set up a vendor booth to raise funds for the children’s scholarship program. We had a great turnout of helpers and of kids wanting to meet the minis.

Wow!!! What a week we had last week! The Merry Minis hosted their first Horse Powered Reading Camp. 5 children joined us for the week to Learn about mini horses and reading. We had lots of fun and learned a lot! Enjoy the pics ….. ok maybe we took too many…😁…. And get in touch for reading tutoring or summer camp!!
