At Machiah’s House, we observe National Foster Care Month by honoring the children, youth, families, and professionals impacted by the foster care system. While the system is imperfect and in need of meaningful reform, it has also provided safety, stability, and support for many children and families in times of need.

This month, we recognize the resilience of those with lived experience and the dedication of caregivers, advocates, and professionals doing the hard work every day.

Consider supporting your local foster care organization through a donation, volunteerism, or advocacy to help strengthen services for children and families in our communities.
