It’s been an exciting month! Throughout the month of May, the Tyler Herndon Memorial Foundation has awarded FIVE $1,000 scholarships to local high school seniors who are pursuing a career in public safety or public health.

The Herndon family is so proud of these graduates and wish them all the best in pursuing the ultimate good for themselves and those whom they’ll serve!

Hi, everyone! We hope you're having an amazing holiday season.

The 5th annual Jeep Ride, hosted by Carolina Jeep Alliance in honor of my brother, Tyler Herndon, will be Saturday, March 22, 2025 starting at 9:00 AM.

**All Jeep Clubs and Jeepers are WELCOME 💙**

Each year, it never fails to be a humbling and heartwarming day for my family. If you are interested in participating, please make sure to register your Jeep the morning of!

Funds raised from this event will be donated to the Tyler Herndon Memorial Foundation to provide financial aid to students pursuing a career in law enforcement, emergency services, and first response.

A HUGE thank you to Just Jeepin’ 4-A Cause for hosting the 4th annual ride in honor of Tyler this weekend. It was a beautiful Saturday, and we are so grateful for all the participants, volunteers, and spectators who chose to spend their day honoring my brother. We miss Tyler more and more every day, but our hearts are full being able to witness so many people celebrate and honor him. Because of you all, the foundation is able to continue supporting local high school seniors pursuing a career in public safety to make their community a safer place for all. My parents and I appreciate you!

We are excited to share our vendor form again this year. This will be our 2nd year doing the Community Event and we are looking forward to having even more vendors to join us this year. THE VENDOR APPLICATION WILL BE CUT OFF ON MARCH 1st so that we can contact everyone and let them know.

Tomorrow is the big day. This is the first ever motorcycle event for the foundation and we can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow.

1 week from today. Starting point will be Mount Holly Police Department Ending point will be Catawba Heights Baptist Church. Registration starts at 11 KSU at 12:15. We will have multiple raffle prizes, 50/50, and top 3 best looking bikes with independent judges. Entrance fee will be $10 per bike $15 with a passenger. Route will be through the scenic back roads of Gaston county.

The ride will end at our community event where all drawings will take place. Where we have multiple food trucks, craft vendors, axe throwing, and more.

We are so excited for this event. The local motorcycle group IGY6 Riding Club reached out to us and asked if they could do an event to honor Tyler. We were more than excited to tell them yes. So if you aren't doing anything on April 22 then come check out the event.

We still can not believe all the support we received from the Jeep ride and our first ever community event. We are already working on details for next years event. We would also like to give a big thank you to Matt Clum for coming out and helping us capture these special moments in a video.

We can not thank everyone enough for all the support we received yesterday between the Thin Blue Line Jeep Ride and the community event. There was 257 jeeps that participated in the new route which began and ended on the Tyler Herndon Memorial Highway. After everything was all over there was nearly $8,000 raised for the foundation. We hope everyone had a great time and enjoyed the new route. We can’t wait to do it again next year.

We also want to give a big thank you to Catawba Heights Baptist Church for letting us host this event and many more in the future.
