Louise and Mel had a great time at the Charlotte Knights’ Bark in the Park game! ⚾🐾
Thankfully, it was a little cooler than it’s been the past few days… although “cooler” is definitely a relative term because it was still HOT!
The kids got to meet Homer, the Knights’ mascot, and naturally made plenty of new friends along the way. They scored several cookies, a French fry, and even a little piece of chicken courtesy of the sweet gentleman sitting behind us.
And did I mention the attention? Lots and LOTS of pets, compliments, and admirers. Apparently, Louise and Mel were under the impression that they were the evening’s main attraction. 😂
Baseball, snacks, new friends, and an entire stadium full of people willing to pet you — pretty much a perfect night if you’re a Dalmatian! ⚾🐾

P*e Wee at the Columbia Kennel Club Dog Show!

Meet Chelsea, making her show ring debut! She had exactly one lesson with Maeve and was all set to show her… until Maeve announced, “Not today!” by deciding to come into season.

Enter Matilda, the last-minute substitute who stepped up like a seasoned professional. Together, Chelsea and Matilda marched into the ring, had a blast, and made a fantastic team.

Not bad for a first show with a backup dog and only one lesson! I’d say that’s a pretty successful game plan. Way to go, Chelsea and Matilda! 🐾❤️

Chris & Savannah brought Panini. Karen brought Louise. Paul brought Maddox. Four humans, three spotted sidekicks, and one great day at the ballpark making new friends. I’d call that a home run! ⚾

Next game is Wednesday, July 22 at 7 pm. Knights vs Norfolk Tides. Our seats are in section 107 row v

Dalmatians attended Bark in the Park at Truist Field for the Charlotte Knights baseball game.

We would love to get together with a group of Dalmatian loving people, show off our beautiful spotted paw kids and show the community just how well behaved Dalmatians can be.

Please leave a comment if you would be interested in taking your Dalmatian to a Bark in the Park event here in Charlotte. The Knights offer two events a month.

State in the comments which date you prefer and we’ll meet you at the park. Outfields seats start at $19 + fees. We’ve sat on the third base line right at the dugout those seats were $41. Only down fall to those seats we were in the sun the whole time (row f). In my opinion the best seats for the comfort of our dogs are rows M and above, these seats are in the shade.

The Dalmatian Club of the Piedmont will be hosting a Itty Bitty Plush Dalmatian dog class on Sunday, May 3rd, 2026 in Kingston Tennessee.
We are asking for stuffed Dalmatian dogs to be donated for the itty bitty’s.

If you would like to donate a stuffed Dalmatian toy and/or a show lead to accompany the stuffed dog, please leave a comment below.

We will collect the dogs on Sunday before the show.
