Has it been 2 weeks already?! Yep, and we are back again for another Distro day. Like clockwork, ApCA will be on the West Side today from 1-3pm! Come see us to grab a homecooked plate, a cold drink, or anything else you may need.
We will have clothes out (as long as the rain cooperates!) as well as some assorted miscellaneous offerings. Everything moves fast, so arriving slightly before 1pm is your best bet to stake out a good spot in line. See y’all soon! 🫶

♿️ Are easier to strap onto wheelchairs so their users still have hands free
🛍️ Let people carry larger loads without ripping (especially useful for heavy clothes!)
📦 Have more room and sturdier straps to carry more supplies, longer term

We go through 60-100 bags every 2 weeks 🫨 And we always need more! So if you have bags you’d like to get rid of, please send em our way. You can drop them off at Venom & Velvet(and get a fresh set while you’re at it?) or DM us to coordinate pickup.

Puppies, Snowcones, and Backpacks, oh my!

Distro yesterday was a success! Not only did the rain cooperate enough to have all our clothes out, we also served Snowcones and distributed filled Backpacks to kids heading back to school.

We beefed up our budget this time and spent more on every category. Our hygiene kits, groceries, pet food, and home cooked plates lasted longer, and we were able to serve more people than ever. Now, we need your help to continue meeting this growing need.

ApCA is 100% community funded. That means your $5 donation is the reason why we were able to buy an extra case of water yesterday. Your $10 donation bought us ingredients for potato salad. Your $20 donation helped us fill a backpack for a kid starting back to school. Every cent you donate goes directly back into the community. Your community.

It’s Distro Day, y’all! Come out and take what you need, always free. We will have every stitch of clothing out this week to help supplement WV’s Clothing Voucher needs. Plenty of kids clothes and shoes will be available, in addition to adult sizes.
