e this as an old fashioned USO Show. Our festival is a token of appreciation for men and women in the military and their families. The military and their families will have VIP seating. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit group. Our media advertising budget is $315,000 with SuddenLink. Our total budget is set at $470,000. The 2011 festival saw us expand to two days, add a second stage and an arts & crafts fair. Attendance for the two days exceeded 12,000. Our area economic impact statement came in at over $1,000,000. We are expanding the 2012 event to three days, adding gospel blues to our current blues, jazz and zydeco music format. We will be bringing in 18 national and international acts for our festival. Estimated attendance over three days is set at 24,000. As in years past, mental health services will be on-site with information on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, depression and family financial planning, among other areas of concern to military families. In addition, we will be offering a blues brunch on Saturday morning with acoustic blues. Other related events will be announced upon confirmation. The Charlie West Blues Fest is a free family friendly event with fun planned for the entire family. We look forward to working with you in developing this into one of the Nation’s premier events.
