It’s been such a fun and special couple of weeks celebrating our senior ambassadors and recognizing all they’ve accomplished throughout the year. We also had the opportunity to award scholarships to several outstanding student ambassadors, which made the celebration even more special.

Prior to that, it was a joy to honor our awesome seniors with a regalia ceremony to highlight their accomplishments and recognize all of their hard work and dedication. These students have represented ATS so well, and we are so proud of each and every one of them as they prepare for this next chapter.

We had the honor of being at today!

The Kindergarten classes got to meet Timbi, who helps teach students about addiction in an age appropriate way, while 3rd grade spent time with Lambi, who focuses on prevention and making healthy choices.

It’s always so special watching these students engage, learn, and ask questions during these experiences. We are so grateful for the opportunity to be welcomed into schools like Parkview and to help educate students in a way that truly sticks with them.

These conversations matter, and we’re thankful to play a small part in helping equip and encourage the next generation.

Thank you to the amazing staff and teachers at Parkview for having us and for all that you do for your students each and every day!

We had the opportunity to visit Polk County High School, and it was such a great experience! We love the connection with these amazing students and are so excited about the growth of the ATS Ambassador club at PCHS!

Our team was excited to bring our “Hidden in Plain Sight” education trailer, designed to give parents, teachers, and administrators a real life look at where students may hide drugs and drug paraphernalia in everyday spaces.

This hands on experience helps raise awareness and equips adults with the knowledge they need to better recognize warning signs and protect our youth.

Thank you to everyone who came out and took the time to learn with us. These conversations truly make a difference.

And a BIG Thank You to PCHS administration for bringing us back again and the opportunity to share our mission!

Fentanyl is 50 times more potent than he**in, 100 times more potent than morphine, and as little as two milligrams can be deadly.

It’s often hidden in counterfeit pills made to look like oxycodone, Xanax, and Percocet. One pill can kill!

On this , know the danger, share the facts, and save a life. Learn how you can help protect our communities at fentanylawarenessday.org

We had the opportunity to be part of the Safe Driving event with the at over the past two Fridays, and it was such a great experience.

Students rotated through several booths and participated in hands-on activities, including impairment goggle exercises that demonstrated what driving under the influence can look and feel like.

We were able to share with students how impairment can come in many forms; including va**ng THC and opioid use, and why making the choice to drive sober is so important. Events like this create powerful conversations, raise awareness, and help equip students to make safe, informed decisions behind the wheel.

We are so thankful to have been part of such an impactful event.

Today is National Drug Endangered Children Awareness Day. We are proud to be 1 of 13 communities in Tennessee to have a Drug Endangered Children’s Alliance.

Did you know It’s never too early & never too late to intervene in the life of a drug-endangered child? ❤️

Drug endangerment impacts children in ways that can have lasting effects if we don’t intervene. Awareness is the first step. When we educate ourselves on the signs, we can better identify children in need and respond with compassion and action.

The journey from awareness → planning → response → identification & assessment → intervention can change a child’s life. It takes trained eyes, trauma-informed care, and communities willing to work together to protect vulnerable children.

The more we know, the more we can do. Early recognition and coordinated intervention matter. Every child deserves safety, support, and hope.

Today is a great day in Tennessee! The “Matthew Davenport Bill” to ban Kratom has passed in the House and the Senate! Now awaiting the Governors signature and hopefully will be illegal by July 1, 2026! This is HUGE for our communities and this ban will save lives!

This may not seem like much to many of you and you may never understand the negative impact, the addiction, the overdoses and the deaths Kratom has caused. But this is very personal to some of us. I’m so thankful for our local legislators for supporting this Bill and for the mother of Matthew, Karen Davenport, my friend, for your hard work, your heart, your drive and perseverance to see this through!

The substance is linked to both opioid recovery claims and FDA safety warnings.
