Leadership Rooted in Service to West Virginia
Kuenzel Law Robert Kuenzel brings a rare blend of professional experience, public service, and deep commitment to the legal community—qualities that make him an invaluable member of the Executive Committee of the West Virginia Bar Association. His leadership is grounded in decades of firsthand experience serving West Virginians, both in and out of the courtroom.
Rob serves as the Chairman of the Solo & Small Firm Seminar, a role in which he has served for two years and in which he has planned two fantastic events, with the second taking place on March 27th at the Embassy Suites in Charleston, WV. His steady leadership, thoughtful planning, and commitment to elevating the quality of programming have made a meaningful impact on one of the WVBA’s most valued events.
Rob’s path to the law began with more than ten years as a West Virginia State Trooper, where he developed a nuanced understanding of how investigations unfold and how the justice system impacts real people. After a career ending injury, he transitioned into the practice of law with a personal appreciation for the challenges individuals face when navigating life altering events.
Today, through Kuenzel Law, PLLC, in Logan County, WV, he represents clients in criminal defense, personal injury, and family law, bringing the same integrity, compassion, and diligence that defined his public service career. In addition he hosts a weekly radio show on Wednesday, from 8:45-9:05, on WVOW, 101.9 FM, in Logan, where we discuss legal issues and answer legal questions for callers.
Rob exemplifies the WVBA’s values of professionalism, service, and dedication to the legal community. His voice enriches our leadership, his experience strengthens our programming, and his commitment to fairness reflects the very best of our profession. We are so grateful to have him.
