🎓 Big News for West Virginia’s Future Leaders! 🎓

The FBI Charleston WV Citizens Academy Alumni Association is proud to officially announce the launch of our FBI Teen Academy College Scholarship Fund!

Each year, the FBI Teen Academy offers outstanding high school students across the Mountain State hands-on leadership development, teamwork skills, and a behind-the-scenes look into federal law enforcement disciplines.

Now, we are taking our support one step further. Through this new scholarship initiative, selected Teen Academy participants will receive college scholarship awards based on their required application essays—helping ease their transition into post-secondary education and setting them up for long-term success.

UPDATE: Cloey has been located safe

🚨 MISSING JUVENILE – CLOEY SHAILYNN FOSTER 🚨

The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating Cloey Shailynn Foster, who was last seen on August 22, 2026, at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Carver Street in Institute, WV.

Cloey is described as a Black female, approximately 5’1” and 105 pounds, with long black braided hair.

She has several distinguishing tattoos, including:
• Names on her left arm
• A name written in red ink on her neck
• A faded rose on her right arm

Cloey was last known to be wearing a silver pearl ring and hoop earrings. She also has a hoop nose piercing.

Investigators have information that Cloey may be traveling to Columbus, Ohio, with another female identified as Jordan Desiree. They may be traveling in a white Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with Ohio registration.

Anyone with information regarding Cloey’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office at 304-357-0169 or the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau at 304-357-0556. Tips may also be submitted through our website at www.KanawhaSheriff.us

That’s a wrap on Operation Icecream 2026! 🍦 Huge success — K9 Buck (and the drones) stole the show (sort of), we handed out ~100 safety whistles and tons of stickers, and shared life-saving search & rescue tips (if you get lost: stay put). It was scorching — one pup (not ours) suffered pad burns from the pavement and our teammate used a K9 medic bag to help. Massive thanks to Serve First Foundation and Officer Messer for hosting — see you next year! 🚨🚔🚒🐾👏
