Today we are celebrating the well-deserved retirement of two incredible law enforcement partners who have been vital to our work in the City of Charleston.

Cpl. Erick Miller worked closely with our team and our CARE1 unit for years, and has impacted so many lives with his dedication and commitment.

Cpl. Johnathan Koerber with the CPD Hybrid Unit has been an incredible ally, consistently going above and beyond to help the people who rely on us.

We couldn’t do this work without the help and support from our community, law enforcement, and fire department.

Thank you both for your compassion, your partnership, and your years of dedicated service to our community. The CARE Office wishes you the best on your next adventures, although we are very sad to see you both go! πŸ’™πŸš”

πŸ•―οΈ International Overdose Awareness Day

Today, we remember the lives lost to overdose, support those who are grieving, and stand with individuals and families affected by substance use.

At Jobs & Hope WV, we believe recovery is possibleβ€”and that every person deserves the opportunity to build a new future.

Through employment, education, training, and connections to community resources, we help West Virginians overcome barriers and move forward.

Recovery changes lives. Opportunity helps build what comes next.

Today, we remember. We raise awareness. We choose hope.

πŸ’œ Hope Works Here.
