Through the Treasury Department's Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund, credit unions leverage federal dollars to push vital loans and financial services into underserved, low-income, and economically distressed communities.

The league works closely with federal stakeholders to ensure that bureaucratic changes to the CDFI application and recertification processes don't disadvantage credit unions doing the real work on the ground.

Please join us in congratulating Alexis Nicole Pruitt on stepping into her new role as our chapter Vice President!

Having previously served as our dedicated Event Coordinator, Alexis is no stranger to making things happen for our community. She brings five years of experience with REV Federal Credit Union, where she currently serves as the Retail Operations Manager and is deeply passionate about developing people and improving processes.

Beyond her professional and board commitments, Alexis proudly serves on the board of My Preemie and Yours, a nonprofit supporting families navigating a NICU stay. She is a devoted wife to her high school sweetheart, a mom to a four-year-old son and a one-year-old daughter, and loves spending her weekends soaking up time with family at the beach or pool.

Driven by a genuine desire to make a positive impact, Alexis believes leadership is about serving others, building meaningful relationships, and creating opportunities to make a difference. We are so excited to see her step into this new leadership chapter!
