🎉 Welcome to Scouting!

Pack 4008 just welcomed six new families tonight!

And the momentum is just getting started. Plans are underway to visit local schools and invite even more families to join us for Rocket Day on September 19. It will be a great opportunity for prospective Cub Scouts to experience the fun of Scouting firsthand, launch some rockets, and sign up to begin their own Scouting adventure.

Congratulations to Pack 4008 on a great start!

The Seneca District hosted a Cub Scout Fun Day at the Summit last Saturday. The Cubs Scouts, ranging from Lions to Arrow of Light Scouts, enjoyed archery, knot-tying, fishing, rocket launches, pancake cooking, and more! At the end of the day, all the Scouts crossed over to their new rank, including two Arrow of Light Scouts who will be joining Scouts BSA!

Special thanks to the Scouts and leaders of Troop 179 for working the event, to the Summit seasonal staff for facilitating archery, and to the Cub Scout parents for supporting their Scouts’ journeys!
