Never Forget. September 11, 2001.

25 years later, we pause to honor and remember the lives that were lost, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the brave first responders who gave everything to serve and protect others.

We remember their courage.
We honor their sacrifice.
We hold their loved ones in our hearts.

And even in the face of unimaginable tragedy, may we remember that we serve a God who heals what is broken, restores what has been lost, and offers us hope that reaches beyond this life and into eternity.

“Those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy.”
— Psalm 126:5

This past July, players and staff from Impact City FC’s Dallas location traveled to San Salvador, El Salvador, for a Missions Experience designed to use soccer as a tool to serve communities, develop local players and coaches, and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Led by Director of Coaching, David Flores, the team partnered with local organizations, including Go Build Love (GBL) and El Golazo de Tu Vida, to host soccer camps and games, provide food and essential resources to families, and train Salvadoran players and coaches in soccer ministry through Impact City FC’s Impact Coaching Academy (ICA).

The week produced a significant impact throughout the surrounding communities. More than 160 players participated in three camps and two games, 13 local players were trained in soccer ministry, 20 Action Bibles were distributed, and 42 people made decisions to follow Christ. The team also distributed more than 150 water filters to help families gain access to clean drinking water.

The Missions Experience reflects Impact City FC’s broader mission to make an eternal impact on the soccer culture in cities everywhere by developing elite-level soccer players who become tomorrow’s leaders who serve their city and change the world. Through Missions Experiences, and various other programs, Impact City FC continues to demonstrate that soccer can be more than a game. It can be a platform to serve others, develop leaders, build relationships, and share the hope of Jesus Christ.

We are excited to announce Luke Marchesani as our New Director of Coaching in Charleston, South Carolina! Luke joined Impact City FC in 2021 and has served in many roles, but most notably as the Marketing Director of Impact City since 2023. He’s also served as one of our coaches in South Florida the last five years.

Luke grew up playing soccer from a young age in Colorado Springs, Colorado, en route to eventually playing for the Colorado Rapids Youth Academy for four years. He then went on to play collegiately at Southeastern University and was a member of the SEU Fire soccer team from 2015-2018. He was a four year starter and went on to win numerous academic and athletic awards, as well as captaining the team both his Junior and Senior years.

Nicholas Lines, who was recently hired as the club’s Sporting Director, will continue on as the Interim Director of Coaching in Charleston until October 1st, when Luke will assume his new role as Director of Coaching.

We’re excited for the future, and thankful for all that God has already accomplished through Impact City FC in Charleston!

2026 ICFC Baptism:

August 16th was a special day for Impact City FC as 5 people took the next step in their faith and publicly declared their decision to follow Jesus through baptism!

Among those baptized were 4 ICFC players, including a coach’s son, and a mother and her son — each with a unique story of how God has been working in their lives. Some came to know Christ through camps, others through the season, coaches, parents, church, and the people God placed around them along the way.

They each made the decision to fully follow Jesus and boldly declare that their lives belong to Him. ❤️

Thankful for Joe from Kingdom church who came out to help baptize! We are so proud of each of you and so grateful for every coach, parent, church, volunteer, and teammate who has played a part in pointing these lives toward Christ.

This is what it’s all about!

Not just developing better players or about being a soccer club but it’s most importantly about making disciples of Jesus.

Congratulations to our five! We celebrate what God has done, what He is doing, and all that He will continue to do in your lives. We pray lives continue to change through the game of soccer this upcoming fall season!

To God be the glory!

Two years ago, we decided to create a soccer ministry in Cap-Haitien, Haiti, and a few weeks ago we were able to visit and see the amazing work that God is doing...

Haiti is the most populous nation in the Caribbean, home to approximately 12 million people. While it is one of the most beautiful places in the world, it has also been plagued by gang warfare, food insecurity, displacement, and economic challenges, leaving many people to flee the capital and take refuge in Cap-Haitien, the second largest city in the country.

Our soccer ministry in Cap-Haitien currently employs a local staff of 9 that serve 86 players, ages 12-17, three days per week. The soccer ministry feeds players, shares the Gospel, and creates real playing opportunities through the club. This past year, multiple players were selected to compete or train with the Haitian Youth National Teams, and one competed at the U17 World Cup.

In our recent visit, we had the privilege of delivering uniforms from our Gear for Good campaign, encouraging the staff for the upcoming season, and hosting two camps in the community. During the camps, we saw God move in the hearts of the players, resulting in nine of them making a first-time decision to follow Jesus.

It was also amazing to bring former Haitian National Team Player and current Impact City FC coach, Jamil Jean Jacques, and see him encourage the next generation of Haitian players in God and in the game!

Message from ICFCs new sporting director and interim Director of coaching Nic Lines:

Impact City FC is more than just a soccer club, we’re a place where players are transformed into leaders. In fact, the entire vision of our club is to see today’s players become tomorrow’s leaders who serve their city and change the world. That’s why we’re so excited to announce that we will be partnering with Meals to Mission for a second year in a row, giving our players the opportunity to pack thousands of meals. In doing so, we’ll also have the opportunity to raise funds that will help to further our mission here at ICFC. In the coming days, we’ll be posting more details about the event, and how you, and your son or daughter, can get involved in serving our communities, both here and abroad. We’re looking forward to the upcoming fall season, and serving alongside you and your family!
