"I want to Thank all my Band Parents, Band Students, Our Band Director Mr Short, Chaparral Middle School Band Director Rodriguez , Chaparral High School - GISD , Our School Director Mrs Rodriguez, CHAPS Entertainment, Chaparral Community Organization and especially our Chaparral Community for their biggest support ❤️

Today we managed to raise just over $1,400 for one of our very own Band students, Megan and Soto family who lost their home last Friday due to a devastating fire 100% of benefits was donated to the family 🙏

Approximately $800 came from generous donations from our Chaparral Community !!!

Hard work from our Band and Band Students made this possible only other thing we could have asked for was a little shine 🌞 from above

Thank you everyone ❤️ 🙏"

Good evening Chaparral community. Last Friday a Chaparral family lost their home to a fire.

We would like to thank our community for the great response donating clothes and other items to the Mendoza/Soto family in the time of need. They have received quite a bit of donations. Today, there was a generous person that offered them a place to live. Now they're needing things that they need to purchase.

The Chaparral Lobos Band and Chaparral Lobos Band Parents have organized a car wash to raise funds for the family. Let's all come together and support the cause. The Lobos are asking for a generous donation of $10. You're more than welcome to donate more if you're able to. The family will be present at the car wash in case that you would like to meet them in person to ask for any specific needs they have. At the moment we know they have received a couple of mattresses but no bed frames.

Please pass the word by posting on all social media platforms or by sharing this post. Your amazing help is greatly appreciated.

Ladies and gentlemen we met with the family who's house burned down today. Unfortunately, they are left with only what they were wearing. A family member was able to temporarily offer a place to stay, but they have no clothes or anything else to count on. Chaparral community let's get together to help this family out. Here's a message from the family's niece, Frances M Mendoza:

"Hi guys. my family was a part of the fire on hermosa dr. it was my aunt my uncle and their 3 kids. everyone and their pets are okay thank god. they lost everything in the fire. their phones, wallets, pictures, clothes, everything. if anyone can donate anything please please inbox me. they are staying at my house in the meantime.

they have 2 girls and 1 boy.

Good morning Chaparral community. Today is the big day at Chaps EntertaiNMent. We have an entire 8 hours of fun scheduled at the 2nd Annual Chaparral Christmas Glow.

JUST A REMINDER THE EVENT IS FREE.

Please see attached flyers for all the details of the event, including rules and regulations, itinerary, details and so on. Doors open at 1:30 pm so please be ready to come in early. We will close our doors once we hit capacity. See you all in a few hours!!!
