Christmas in the Park - Chanute, KS Christmas in the Park has been a tradition in Chanute, Kansas for several years. The nonprofit organization is now an arm of Main Street Chanute.

Volunteers, young and old, set up the Christmas lights in Katy Park each year for the citizens of Chanute.

Christmas in the Park is almost ready for the 2024 season! The lights will be turned on this year the evening of Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 28. Katy Park is located on the east end of Main Street. Thank you to all the volunteers who make this happen.
