🎉 A birthday in a box, made with love!
Huge shoutout to Evelyn, one of our amazing young volunteers, for spearheading a community service event with HSGP NavigatorsUSA Chapter 458! 🌟 Because of her vision and heart for others, she chose to partner with Branching Out to bring joy to local foster youth and to Unite America with Empathy.
The HSGP NavigatorsUSA Chapter 458 packaged over 100 “Birthday Boxes” complete with cake mix, frosting, candles, decorations, and everything needed for a special celebration. 🎂✨
Everyone who volunteered, showed up, gave back, and made sure every kid feels celebrated on their special day. Thank you Evelyn and everyone who volunteered at the event.

Huge shoutout to our incredible volunteer who celebrated her own birthday by Branching Out for others! Instead of just blowing out her own candles, she spent her day creating Birthday Boxes for local group home youth. Thank you for proving that the best way to celebrate another year is by spreading the joy. Happy Birthday 🎈

The energy was electric, the shears were flying, and the smiles? Absolutely priceless. We just wrapped up our 3rd Sharp Futures event, and our hearts (and chairs) are full!

There is a unique kind of magic that happens when a professional barber or cosmetologist picks up their tools. It’s not just about a haircut, it’s about dignity, identity, and confidence. For kids navigating the foster care system, the time in the chair with our volunteer professionals is a rare moment of pure “me time” where they are the VIP.
