Coalition for Women's Rights in International Development "Advancing gender equity, securing women's rights, creating sustainable development." We are organizers, activists, scholars, policy-makers, and advocates.

The Coalition for Women's Rights in International Development (CWRID), an organization of graduate students from a variety of fields with research and scholarly interests in international development, gender studies, human rights, sustainable development, women's rights, social justice, transnational feminisms, and cultural studies. We come from a variety of disciplines and interdisciplinary backg

rounds with a common dedication to sustainable international and community development, mindful of the dynamics of power, privilege, and oppression. Our aim is to collaborate with communities and each other to support scholarship and activism for women's rights in international development and to foreground social justice and social change within our disciplines.
