Our friends at the Geauga County Public Library offer a wide variety of programs. Check out the changes in programming.

Exciting changes are coming to our programming in 2026!

This winter, we are implementing a new program registration process called “rolling registration.” Instead of opening registrations for an entire programming session at once, registrations for each month will now open on the 15th of the previous month. In practice, it will look like this:

➡️ Registration for January programs will open on Monday, December 15.
➡️ Registration for February programs will open on Thursday, January 15.

We are also updating our Lines & Links scheduling, which will go into effect in our next spring issue. Rather than publishing three issues, we are increasing our output to include a fourth publication. The new schedule will follow this format:

🌷 Spring: March – May
☀️ Summer: June – August
🍁 Fall: September – November
❄️ Winter: December – February

🚨 Scam Alert – Please Share 🚨

We have received reports of a phone scam targeting local residents. Scammers are calling individuals while falsely claiming to be “Lake County Deputy Jason Green.” During the call, the scammer states there are active warrants and then “transfers” the call to someone pretending to be Sheriff Hildenbrand.

THIS IS A SCAM!!!
Neither the Lake County Sheriff’s Office nor the Geauga County Sheriff’s Office will:

Call you about warrants

Demand payment over the phone

Transfer you to a “sheriff” to resolve legal matters

If you receive a call like this:
Do not provide personal or financial information
Do not send money or gift cards
Hang up immediately

If you are unsure about the legitimacy of a call, contact your local law enforcement agency directly using a verified phone number.

Please help protect others by sharing this post. Scammers rely on fear and urgency—stay informed and stay safe.
