Our representatives in the federal government seem unable or unwilling to make the necessary and politically difficult cuts to the federal budget to avoid economic ruin. A Balanced Budget Amendment would force Congress and the President to do what every household and most states do, that is to only spend what they have. Our debt is currently over $14 TRILLION and we are adding over $1 TRILLION PER
