Im sorry but, no he can NOT be adopted for breeding purposes.

Meet Our Ice-Eyed Heartbreaker, Cyprus! ❄️💙
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION through Compass Rose Rescue – Maryland

Say hello to one of the sweetest, most striking pups you’ll ever meet! This handsome husky mix has movie-star blue eyes, a smile that could melt the coldest winter, and a personality that’s even more beautiful than his looks.

✨ About Him:
• Name: Cyprus
• Approx. age: 3-4yo
• Breed: Husky / Shepherd Mix
• S*x: Male
• Temperament: Friendly, social, silly, and full of love
• Energy Level: Medium–high+ (classic husky fun!)
• Dog-friendly: Yes✅
*Non Dominant \ His Size or around his size.
NO SMALL DOGS
• Cat Friendly: NO ❌
• People-friendly: LOVES everyone but due to his size and rambunctious personality we recommend no homes with small children.

🐾 Bonus: Professionally trained by the amazing K9 Remedy Dog Training Team💙

This boy is the whole package—smart, affectionate, and ready for adventure. He’ll happily trot beside you on hikes, play in the yard, or flop at your feet once he’s done showing off his goofy grin. He’s incredibly people-oriented and lights up the second he gets attention.

He came into rescue hoping for a fresh start, and now he’s ready to find a family who understands the joys (and comedy) of life with a northern breed:
✨ daily exercise
✨ brain games
✨ a fenced yard or active lifestyle is a huge plus
✨ and of course… unconditional love ❤️

If you’ve been dreaming of a loyal companion with good looks AND a golden heart, this boy might just be your perfect match.

🇺🇸 Pets 4 Vets Adoption Eligable

***Emergency Foster or ADOPTER needed***

Loki recently went to foster to adopt, however the one dog in the home is not getting along with poor Loki & his previous foster can not take him bak due to a family emergency.

Currently located in Caroll County,

Written by Loki’s (formally Rambo) Foster Mom:

💙 Meet Loki –A Husky’s Beauty with a Lab’s Heart 💙

Have you dreamed of having a Husky but with lab characteristics? Well we may have the one for you……

Meet Loki, a five year old stunning husky with soulful eyes and a gentle, loyal spirit. While he has the striking looks of a husky, his personality leans more towards that of a laid back lab.
He’s affectionate & friendly, however he spends most of his time always ready for snuggles on the couch🛋️ .

Loki is wonderful with other dogs 🐕 and great with kids👦– he thrives in a family setting where he can be part of the action. He’s social, people-oriented, and loves being involved in your daily life💕. Loki is truly happiest by your side.

While Loki doesn’t have a prey drive at this time we still feel Loki would do best in a cat-free home.

Loki came to us as a survivor of the urgent/euthanasia list with just hours to spare, however he is more than just a rescue – he’s a loyal friend,a heart-healer and a amazing boy who just deserves a family to be his forever.

🐾 It’s time to open your heart and home — Loki’s forever can start with you! 🐾

Mama Osita & Baby Reuben (Aka Denis The Menice) are ready to find their forever homes!

Osita is a 1 year old petite female husky mix who is sweater than pie! She is great with kids & other dogs NO CATS! She would be perfect in a mixed energy level home where some days she can be found relaxing on the couch and maybe eweekends are spent out on adventures! she can certainly be a little shy at first, but once she warms up to you, you’re locked in for life.

Reuben aka Denis the menace sure lives up to his nickname. He is about 15 weeks old now and ready to take on the world! This feisty little puppy has lots of energy and even more love to give. He is a bit food aggressive with other dogs currently however, with being so young, we do believe that he will be easily trainable to grow out of that temperament with consistant training.

He is good with other dogs and kids and due to being so young we do believe him to be OK around cats at this time so as he grows, he learns to tolerate them. We are unsure of what is exact breed is however he is Osita‘s baby so we could only assume that he is also some variety of a husky mix.

We are recommending that both of these pups go to separate homes.

Currently located in Chesapeake Beach, MD-
Adoption Available for MD, VA, DE, & Southern PA / NJ.

Compass Rose Rescue – Maryland has always prided itself on being the ones who show up for the harder to handle pups. The northern and working class breeds who require a special home and even more special owners to do right by them. Time and time again, we’ve stepped up to pull dogs off the urgent list at PG County Animal Services, often after seeing countless pleas from others begging someone — anyone — to help. Rescues are full. Volunteers are tired. Resources are exhausted for almost every rescue we talk to. But the number of dogs needing help never slows down.

Even when we were already on intake hold, trying to focus on the dogs already in our care, we opened our hearts (and our doors) just a little wider — because saying no would mean one more life lost.

But right now… we’re struggling.

🏥 Our vet and training bills have piled up, and (most of) the pledges that were promised to help cover those costs never came through.

🐾 Funds are dangerously low, and with adoptions slower than usual, every day becomes a balancing act between hope and heartbreak.

We don’t regret saving a single one — not the scared shepherds, the misunderstood mastiffs, the broken huskies, or the shy cattle dogs…. Each of them deserved a chance, and we gave it to them. But now we need a lifeline.

Every single dollar makes a difference.
Whether it’s $5, $25, or $100 — your support directly pays for medical care, behavioral training, food, and shelter for the dogs who had nowhere else to go.

Please, if our mission touches your heart — donate today and help us continue to fight for the ones who can’t fight for themselves.

💕💕💕💕ADOPTION UPDATE💕💕💕💕

In rescue we often have more bad days than good. Days where we wonder what we've gotten ourselves into, how we are going to keep going, or really start losing faith in humanity as we see these sweet innocent creatures get let down by humans time and time again.
But then there are days like today that make all of that worthwhile, and we can't help but shed a happy tear or two🥹🥹!
Our very own Cinderella, now Ellie, has found her happily ever after, and we cannot imagine a more perfect fit!

Her foster(now furever) mom writes:
"Over the last two months, Ellie - also known as Cinderella, Ellie Mae, or Cynthia when she’s bad - made herself at home literally, and in my heart. Ellie is far from the perfect dog; she’s a puppy through and through. She was never given adequate training before she wound up at the shelter. When I started talking with the rescue about the perfect family for her, I realized I was describing George and me. George and Ellie love - and love to hate - each other. I’m thankfully in a position where I can ensure Ellie gets the training she needs to thrive. "

We wish Cailynn, Ellie, and George the happiest of tales for Cinderella's fairy tale ending, and cannot wait to see this girl continue to blossom and grow in her furever home!

💕💕💕Meet Layla!💕💕💕
An excellent catcher⚾️ in search of an all-star pitcher.

Weighing in at about 75lbs, this 4 year old German Shepard girl is soft as velvet, with soulful brown eyes and a ball-obsession🎾!
Her foster mom reports:
“She gives older-sister-energy, correcting and perimeter guarding her doggy friends and smooshing them from time to time because they make good pillows🛏️. She wants someone to play with (my dog is lazy), so she would do well with another similar-sized dog🐶. No cats 🐱or other small animals -- though she enjoys chasing them, she is not even a little bit gentle in administering her affections and may think cats are plotting to take over the world😅.

She is very smart and teachable🎓, has done well in training class (a squeaky ball rather than treats works best for her), and is house-trained.

She does not chew things she isn’t supposed to, is easily corrected to leave it (unless it’s food, but she was concerningly thin so time and abundance is reducing that “eat what you can when you can” impulse and she is learning to sit and wait for permission), and can be alone overnight without worrying about shoes/couches/etc.

She snoozes 😴happily near me while I work, and greets people politely, but also does not seem aware of how big she is (or how big her teeth are), so cautious introduction to small humans will be needed.

She does pull on the leash, but more training will help with that, and her recall is improving. She is crate-trained, but I leave the door open for her, and she mostly uses it as a ball-and-treat-hoarding station.

She does get car sick 🚗if a car ride is longer than about 20 minutes but is a good passenger otherwise.

She did well at her grooming appointments, getting a bath🛁, brushing, drying and nail trim. She also enjoys “spa time” at night, as I have been using musher’s secret to clean up her paw pads and was treating hot spots under her arms caused by shaving her at the shelter. She loves being wiped down or towel dried but merely endures (with sad puppy eyes) a hose bath.

She does not bark. I’m so used to a talkative husky (my lazy dog) that I expected to be serenaded with barks and whines regularly, but she is nearly silent.

She shares her toys and treats and even food well with her dog friends, but you should use the “give” or “drop it” command when it comes to the squeaky balls (at least until she is comfortable with you), as she will put her mouth on you (no biting) to express her displeasure at taking a ball. It only happened once with me, but when my colleagues tried to play with her, they needed to give the command every time. Balls are very important to her… (and her adoption includes all of her favorites!)”
