What an incredible finish to the 2025/2026 NextGen Texas Tournament Trail Championship on Lake Brownwood! These young anglers battled changing conditions, long days on the water, and pressure-packed moments to earn their place among the best.

Due to weather concerns and the possibility of severe weather impacting travel times home, we are making an adjustment to today’s championship schedule to help ensure everyone can travel safely.

🕑 NEW TIMES:
• Lines Out — 2:00 PM
• Scales Close — 2:30 PM SHARP

The safety of our anglers, boat captains, families, and staff will always come first. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation as we work to provide the safest possible championship experience.

Please use caution while traveling home this afternoon and evening.

⚠️ NEXTGEN TEXAS WEATHER UPDATE ⚠️

Registration will still open at 5 am.

At this time, we are expecting only a slight delay in this morning’s launch as we allow the current weather to safely move through the area.

We are continuing to monitor conditions closely and expect to get everyone on the water as soon as it is safe to do so.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as safety remains our top priority for all anglers, boat captains, families, and staff.
