Friends of Community-Cats Rescue Our mission is to rescue cats & kittens from abuse, neglect & unfortunate death & to promote TNR. We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats.

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens whom are abandoned, neglected, sick, injured, unwanted or would otherwise be euthanized in shelters. We work with multiple shelters in Utah and are part of the Best Friends Animal Society Coalition aiming to make Utah a no-kill state. We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric and neonatal, sick and injured and cats with severe behavioral problems. We get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes. We provide food, shelters and medical care for more than 100 community cats daily. We also assist low income families with medical care and food for their animals. We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the public to keep our organization running. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well, such as dogs, small animals and livestock. Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives and we will continue to save more and more lives every year.

Astrid is the perfect mix of playful, cuddly, chatty, and entertaining. Transport found! A huge thank you to our amazing volunteer Amy for offering to fly Ariel and to Kitty Devore Rescue from California for being so kind to pick up Ariel and give her a place to stay for the next couple of weeks!

Hi friends! This is probably a long shot, but one of our kitties ended up all the way in Hawthorne, California at the spcaLA South Bay Pet Adoption Center last week. (We are in Salt Lake City, UT) We adopted Ariel out about a year ago with another kitty. Unfortunately, we have made every attempt possible at contacting the adopter to try and find the other kitty, but haven't had any luck. Anyway, we are hoping to find transport from Hawthorne, CA to Salt Lake City, UT asap so Ariel can get back with us. Does any of our followers know of anyone going this route? If so, please send us a message! 🫶🐾

* Your New Little Snuggle Buddy! *

Donovan is a handsome little grey tabby with white who has a BIG personality packed into one adorable kitten! 😻 He is friendly, affectionate, playful, social, and oh-so-much fun. This little guy loves being around his humans and is always ready for some attention, cuddles, or a good play session!

When he’s not busy entertaining everyone, Donovan is a total snugglebug. 🥰 He loves curling up in your lap or cuddling next to his sister, Pearl. Donovan and Pearl are incredibly bonded and must be adopted together. They play, nap, and explore together, and are rarely apart. ❤️

Donovan is also quite the little character! 😂 He loves his ball track toy, hopping around on the bed, and—of course—whatever toy Pearl happens to be playing with. He even has the adorable habit of suckling on his own arm and sometimes gives himself a little burp afterward! 🥹💙

Donovan and Pearl came to us after being brought to a local shelter as strays when they were just tiny babies. We took them into our rescue so they could receive the care, love, and veterinary attention they needed before finding their forever family. Now they’re ready to fill a loving home with endless cuddles, laughter, and kitten fun! 🏡💕

Meet Pearl, a little tabby girl with a BIG personality and an even bigger heart! ✨ This sweet kitten is friendly, affectionate, social, and oh-so-fun. Pearl is full of playful energy and definitely knows how to keep her people on their toes! Give her a pipe cleaner and she’ll go absolutely bonkers—it’s one of her favorite ways to have fun. 😹🧶

Cookie is an absolutely adorable brown tabby and white kitten with a heart as big as her purrs. Friendly, incredibly affectionate, and wonderfully gentle, this little sweetheart loves nothing more than being close to her favorite people. Whether she's curled up in your lap, snuggled in your arms, or soaking up endless pets, Cookie is happiest when she's sharing love with her family. 💕🐱

Like any happy kitten, Cookie has a playful side too! She loves romping around with her siblings, chasing toys of every kind, and turning everyday moments into fun adventures.
