We are a little over one month out from the 2nd Annual Give a Dog a Dream “Walk & Wag” Event, on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from noon until 4pm at Heckscher Park in Huntington!
Give a Dog a Dream is a non profit organization that is dedicated to raising funds and awareness to support dog adoption, rehabilitation and rescue efforts. Thanks to the incredible support of hundreds of dog walkers, local vendors and sponsors, our inaugural event last year was a great success, and this year is going to be even better.
This dog-friendly event brings together animal lovers, families, and local businesses for a fun-filled day- kicking off with a spirited multi-breed dog walk/pageant around beautiful Heckscher Pond followed by visits to our dog-based business vendors, food, activities, live entertainment and adoptable pups. Your participation will help us raise vital funds, expand our reach, and ultimately give more shelter dogs the second chance they deserve.
