Texas Round Up Animal Alliance We heal the broken, love the "unlovable", all while finding them their forever home We are open Monday-Friday 10am-4pm and Saturday-Sunday 10am-3pm.

Adoption meet and greets are done by appointment only and require an approved adoption application. If you have donation items or a check to drop off, please contact us to set up an appointment. Our sole purpose is rescuing dogs that are at high risk of euthanasia, surrendered and abandoned. We are a small facility where we house up to 20-25 dogs at a time. The dogs that come into our care get one

on one attention, vet care, fully vaccinated and trained. Our goal is to provide these neglected dogs with a second chance at life. We learn all about them, their personalities, behaviors, wants and needs. Once they are fully vetted they become available for adoption. We search for the best fit family for each and every one of them!

We are so grateful for everyone’s support. 💙🐾

Thanks to the kindness of our community, we just received 11 bags of dog food, which will carry us through this week and next week.

That may not seem like a big deal to some, but for us and the dogs in our care, it means everything. Thank you for helping us keep their bowls full and for continuing to show up for TRUAA. We truly couldn’t do this without you.

One of the most important parts of what we do is making sure we truly get to know our dogs—and that includes learning how they feel about cats!

Enter Joy. 🐱❤️

Joy has been helping us cat-test dogs for quite some time now, and she takes her job very seriously… well, as seriously as a cat can. Whether she’s rubbing against a dog’s legs, lounging nearby, or confidently strolling through the yard, Joy gives our dogs real-world exposure that helps us better understand their comfort level around cats.

And don’t worry—everyone is safely managed and closely supervised throughout the process. Safety is always our top priority.

We take a lot of pride in these introductions because they help us provide honest, accurate information to adopters. Not every dog is cat-friendly, and that’s okay! The goal is to set both our dogs and their future families up for success by understanding their needs before they go home.

A huge thank you to Joy for being such a trooper, even with the occasional overly enthusiastic dog. She may not know it, but she’s helping us change lives one introduction at a time. 🐾🐱

Meet Piper 🐶✨

Piper is goofy, bouncy, and full of playful energy — a happy, hyper girl who loves to play hard and show off her silly personality. She’s the kind of dog who keeps life fun and never misses a chance to turn playtime into an adventure.

Piper gets along well with other dogs and is also cat friendly. She’s social, playful, and enjoys being part of the action. Because she has a lot of energy and excitement, Piper may not be the best fit for homes with kids under 5, simply because she could accidentally knock little ones over while playing. With older kids, teens, or adults who enjoy an active dog, she’s an absolute joy.

Get ready to lace up and bring your furry friend along for a fun-filled morning! This event is perfect for runners, walkers, and pet lovers who want to enjoy fresh air, great company, and support the rescue dogs of TRUAA. Whether you’re sprinting, strolling, or wagging, the 5K route offers a fantastic time for everyone.

🕗 Fun Run: 8 AM–10 AM
🎉 After Party: 10 AM–12 PM
