Shortly after Adam Harvey passed away in June, his parents Andy and Janet wanted to honor his legacy by continuing to support Celina High School baseball and youth baseball in the community.
By August, the Adam Harvey Baseball Foundation was created. Thanks to the generosity of so many in the community and friends of the Harvey family, and a scholarship was given to Connor Rabbe to aid in continuing his college baseball dream.
Little did we know, that just over 4 short months later, Andy would join Adam in heaven.
Andy Harvey was crucial in re-igniting the Celina High School baseball program in the mid 90's, a program that would win a state championship in 2002. Andy also led the way to build a new baseball field to support the surging program. Celina baseball has continued that excellence and is still a top ranked baseball program in the state.
Andy supported many Celina youth athletes over the years by helping them learn/play the game and also connecting many student athletes with colleges to continue their dream of playing collegiately. Andy Harvey embodied the mission of the Adam Harvey Baseball Foundation
