We got our notice from the IRS! We are officially a 501(c)(3)! Yes!

Just wanted to give an update. We have filed for official 501(c)(3) status!! Once the paperwork is filed it can take up to 3 months to be approved. And now we wait! Fingers and toes and everything crossed for approval! Once approved as a 501(c)(3) we will begin recruiting veterinarians to be part of our program. We will also begin fundraising at that point.

The first board meeting was a success! Next step is sending in the paperwork to become an official 501(c)(3)!
