We were so happy to have Brother Ken stop by and visit our friends at The Arc of East Central Iowa recently! While there, he had the honor of dropping off a grant to support the incredible work they do every day.

At Crescent Janko, we are beyond proud to partner with an organization that shares such a vital mission: empowering people with disabilities to live, learn, work, and play with full dignity and inclusion right here in our community. 🤝✨

From their Project SEARCH employment training to their amazing summer programs for youth, The Arc is truly making Cedar Rapids a more inclusive place for everyone.

Today, Crescent Janko and the Rainbow Girls presented a donation to the Indian Creek Nature Center. This donation supports local youth service initiatives and environmental education. Honoring a Vision, Building a Future: A Landmark Year for Crescent Janko.

As we close the books on the 2025 fiscal year, our hearts are full. This year, we dedicated ourselves to honoring the enduring vision of Brother Janko: providing unwavering support for needy children right here in our community. Through partnerships with incredible non-profits across Linn and Johnson Counties, we have been blessed to make a tangible difference in the lives of local kids who need it most.

But 2025 brought us another monumental achievement. We are thrilled to announce that we have finally secured a permanent home for Crescent Janko! 🏠🗝️

This new building is more than just bricks and mortar; it is the physical foundation for the next century of our charitable work. It ensures that Brother Janko's legacy of giving will have a permanent address in Cedar Rapids.
As we look ahead to 2026, our excitement grows. Next year will be defined by transformation as we begin renovations and prepare for the cornerstone laying of this new Lodge home. It is fitting that these historic steps will coincide with a massive milestone: celebrating Crescent Lodge #25’s 175th Anniversary in Cedar Rapids.

Thank you to everyone who supported us in 2025. We can’t wait to build the future with you in 2026.

We’re thrilled to share that Crescent Janko now has a permanent home inside the hallowed walls of our new lodge —alongside Crescent Lodge. This marks a powerful new chapter for us, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

For quite some time, we operated out of a brother’s home, and his generosity kept our mission alive. To him, we extend our deepest thanks. His support allowed Janko to continue its work and uphold the values we cherish.

And now, the name plate on our door isn’t just a name plate—it’s a symbol of belonging. Since our inception, Janko has never had a true home. That changed this year. While it may be just a name plate for now, this space holds hope for continued work, growth, and philanthropy through the foundation. It’s a small marker of a big future.

With strong leadership guiding us and a renewed sense of purpose, the future of Crescent Janko is brighter than ever. Here’s to growth, unity, and the journey ahead. 🌟

🎒✨ Back to School Bash Success! ✨🎒
Today, Crescent Janko was honored to support Families Helping Families at their annual Back to School Bash—and what a beautiful success it was!

We spoke with the Executive Director, who shared that without Crescent Janko’s support, this event wouldn’t have reached the incredible heights it did. That’s a testament to the power of community and compassion.

Families Helping Families is devoted to uplifting children in foster care and the caregivers who open their homes and hearts to them. Their mission is to create spaces where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.

With nine core programs serving foster and adoptive youth, FHF continues to make a lasting impact—and Crescent Janko is proud to stand beside them in that mission.

We’re proud to announce our new home at 2801 6th St SW, a space that will serve as a beacon of outreach and brotherhood. With this partnership, we deepen our commitment to aiding those who need it most — the helpless and the underserved youth who deserve care, support, and opportunity.
