Marion Parks and Recreation makes it happen again! 👏🏻💦☀️ check out their sensory swim session on sunday!

Sensory Swim is this Sunday, June 14! This is a welcoming swim event at the Marion Pool designed for individuals with sensory sensitivities and their families.

During the designated time, the pool environment will be adjusted to create a calmer, more comfortable experience, including reduced noise levels, fewer people in the water and supportive staff available to assist participants as needed.

Sensory Swim will be held on Sunday, June 14, from 9–11 a.m. at the Marion Pool.

Admission is $5 per child, and caregivers and family members may attend free of charge.

This event offers a safe, welcoming space for individuals and families to enjoy the water at their own pace. All ages and abilities are welcome, and caregivers are encouraged to accompany participants in the water if needed.

A new and exciting event is in the works at the Market! We're collaborating with The Growing Kind to host our inaugural inclusion festival this fall!

To get the ball rolling, we met with our new friends at Venture Academics with Linn-Mar Community Schools as they worked to complete their final marketing project this semester. The whole team was AWESOME, and we can't wait to collab again!
