Bringing hope to cancer patients and their families She lived this daily and inspired others to adopt this passion. The life Noreen lived is a reminder for us to support one another and offer hope.

Noreen Bush, former Cedar Rapids Community Schools Superintendent, community advocate, and true champion for children, was driven to make other people’s lives better. Gems of Hope was asked to offer an opportunity to continue her work of spreading light through the Hope Blooms program and Noreen’s family approved. A Gift of Hope is delivered anonymously to someone receiving cancer treatment, with

a bouquet of daffodils to an adult or a cozy stuffed animal to a child. To continue Noreen’s work of lifting up others and offering encouragement, a note to inspire hope will be included with each bouquet purchased in Noreen’s name.
