Yeshe De Tibetan Text Preservation Project

Yeshe De Tibetan Text Preservation Project Founded by Tibetan Lama Tarthang Tulku Books are given for free to Tibetan refugees in Asia during the annual "World Peace Ceremony".

Our all-volunteer staff prints and binds traditional Tibetan Buddhist scriptures in our bindery at Ratna Ling Retreat Center on the Northern California Sonoma coast. With these texts the next generation of Tibetans is able to continue their traditional education in Buddhist studies and practice. Realizing the urgency to make these texts available while the old generation of trained teachers is sti

ll alive, we are committed to reproducing as many texts as we can. At the same time we use our work for our own spiritual practice: Work-practice integrates what we learn in classes and formal meditation into our daily lives.

From January 25th-February 5th. The Yeshe De Project and Tibetan Nyingma Meditation Centers had another historical milestone in the world peace ceremony. Without the unconditional love for the Dharma, and pursuit of peace for all, none of this would’ve been possible.

"Work is a means to more than just making a valuable contribution to our organization's mission, it is also the laboratory where I can get to know my mind and experiment with different ways of being. When I approach work that way, it benefits myself and others and ceases to be a separate category of life. Everything I do blends seamlessly within the stream of experience which opens up more opportunities for growth and service."

Join Tara for a Community Work retreat, June 27-30, to deepen your working practice.
