Morro the Brown Pelican Morro is a beautiful California Brown Pelican that has been given a second chance at life by Dani an Morro lives with Dani and Bill Nicholson.

Morro is a California Brown Pelican who was born in 2008, most likely in Baja California. He lived a year in the wild before injuring his left wing which caused him to come into rehabilitation. The rehabilitation efforts didn't work entirely and although he is a healthy bird, he cannot fly. Dani Nicholson, a wildlife rehabilitator and educator, received a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service permit to take Morro out to the public in San Luis Obispo County educational events.
