The Standard Poodle Club and Rescue of the Desert and Greater Palm Springs

We are a 501c3 charitable Rescue organization and social poodle club comprised of over 500 poodles Our social Club has no membership fees or sign up cost.

We are a collection of Standard Poodle owners who love their dogs and we have two goals: our primary goal is a Standard Poodle 501c3 rescue organization. We rescue, rehab and re-home to approved forever adopters. We are also a social club for Standard Poodle owners to meet on a regular basis through the “Season” in the greater Palm Desert and Palm Springs area. We meet on a regular basis posted o

n our FB page. Everyone gets the opportunity to socialize with other Standard Poodles, learn about resources locally for themselves and their beloved Standard Poodles. It is fun for the dogs and their Human’s. One of the simple pleasures of having a Standard Poodle, is showing them off to the world. We stroll them down El Paseo, Palm Desert CA and they are spectacular to see and be a part of this unique collection of "Oodles of Poodles". Our mission is to rescue, match adoptees with the right Standard Poodle family and have fun with our Standard Poodles.

Please Join us for our final Promenade before Summer starts on March 21, 2026! We had a huge turnout last month and hope to beat that number of 44 standard Poodles. We will also announce other activities that will be coming up soon. 9:00 am meet and greet and 9:30 Promenade.

We will have a Poodle Pop-up Shop at our Valentine's Day Promenade on February 14th 9am. Please come by and see what fun finds you can purchase that will benefit our nonprofit organization. Some vintage and some new! Great for gifts.
