We were thrilled to have Ashley Garcia, Member Outreach Development with the Castle Rock Chamber at our lunch meeting yesterday. We heard great things about our community and the upcoming non-profit unwind scheduled for September 23. Stop by to visit our table. And in other news, one of our members attended a meeting at the same time on the western slope with the Kiwanis Club of Grand Junction! 🎉

Today we celebrate one of our nation’s most recognizable symbols of strength, courage, and freedom — the American Bald Eagle.

American Eagle Day commemorates the successful recovery of the bald eagle, a conservation success story that reminds us what can be achieved when communities work together to protect and preserve our natural world.

At Kiwanis, we believe in inspiring young people to dream big, aim high, and become caring leaders in their communities. Just as the eagle soars above challenges, we encourage children to reach their full potential and create a brighter future for all.

Today’s club events continued at a ribbon cutting for the grand opening of the Wellspring Community residential building. We’re inspired by this organization and know a more connected inclusive community is a stronger one! Congratulations, Wellspring!

Our hands for service grew by more than two as we added our first corporate member and partner today! We welcome Trish and U.S. Bank to our team and will make it official soon. Cannot wait to crank up the impact we have for children and our community! We also assembled t-shirts for next weekend’s Casper Rocky Mountain Key Leader. Oh, and the Governor-Elect, Andrea Weule, and Div 6 LtG, Debbie Weule, were in attendance as well! It’s a great day to be a Kiwanian! Join us on the 18th for our next meeting.
