What a day!!! 🎉 We kicked off the month with Governor Andrea presenting two Ruby K pins to Jonathan and Robin. 🪎 Then Brian was named our member of the month and presented a “little” backpack with a “little” book inside for his care of our “little” lending library! 📚 (See what we did there 😂) And to top off the meeting, two of our guests turned in their membership forms as they were leaving! 🙌🏽 Oh, the joy! Happy New Kiwanis Year! 🥳

Look for an additional post to see the shenanigans from our meeting today and Brian’s official award. There’s more than this amazing post! 😂

🎉 We had an incredible table set up for the Castle Rock Chamber Business Unwind featuring nonprofits! And then the rain began 🌧️☔️🌈… so we happily moved inside to a much smaller table. It was lovely to mingle with others on a mission and have the opportunity to promote our great work. 📍Join us on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 11:30 at Tap and Dough. You won’t regret it!

🎉Our last meeting of the year was packed with 3 new member inductions, board and officer installations (thanks LtG Debbie), a Lusche medallion presentation, District update (thanks Madam Governor Designate Andrea) and a rapid fire S.W.O.T. activity for the record books! 📚 We’ll be using information captured to move forward with a robust strategic plan. Join us at our next meeting on October 1 to learn more. Make an investment in yourself, our children and our amazing community! 📆

We were thrilled to have Ashley Garcia, Member Outreach Development with the Castle Rock Chamber at our lunch meeting yesterday. We heard great things about our community and the upcoming non-profit unwind scheduled for September 23. Stop by to visit our table. And in other news, one of our members attended a meeting at the same time on the western slope with the Kiwanis Club of Grand Junction! 🎉
