Castle Rock Writers Castle Rock Writers (CRW), is a 501(c)3 non-profit, and holds a yearly conference & monthly workshop Castle Rock Writers started in 1999 in Castle Rock.

Today it is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a monthly program and a yearly conference! Our email list goes out to 800 plus writers, so Castle Rock Writers serves writers from the Front Range and beyond!

Cliché Busting Poetry Workshop

Celebrate Poetry Month with poet Trish Hopkinson and Castle Rock Writers. This event is free, but registration is required.

The definition of cliché is “a phrase or opinion that is overused and betrays a lack of original thought.” In this virtual workshop, we’ll use cliché-busting writing exercises and prompts to generate creative imagery for new poems.
