We wanted to share a recent story to highlight how Wyoming for Heroes steps in to assist in times of need! When a Wyoming veteran faced an unexpected financial hardship, it put him at risk for homelessness. A veteran’s social worker reached out to us to see if we could help.

We partnered with the American Legion to provide financial assistance and help this WY veteran transition into stable, safe housing.

He wanted everyone to know he is very grateful for our commitment and the support we get from our Wyoming community! ❤️🇺🇸

Wyoming for Heroes is proud to introduce Jacob Carlson, a member of our Advisory Board!

Jacob is a U.S. Army veteran who served as an airborne infantryman and deployed to Afghanistan. After settling in Wyoming in 2014, he continued his commitment to service by joining the Casper Police Department.

In 2018, Jacob was seriously wounded in the line of duty. Following multiple surgeries and an extensive recovery, he medically retired from law enforcement and was recognized for his bravery with honors including the Medal of Valor.

Today, Jacob is a proud father of four boys. His lifelong commitment to service and community makes us incredibly grateful to have him serving on our Advisory Board.

☘️ What a wonderful Saturday morning for the Wyoming for Heroes Band! 🎶

We had the pleasure of kicking off Casper’s Celtic Irish Festival by playing at their opening ceremony! 🇮🇪

Wyoming for Heroes will have a table at the festival all day today, so be sure to stop by, say hello, and learn more about our organization. We’re selling hoodies, T-shirts, hats, and more! 100% of every sale goes directly back to Wyoming for Heroes 🇺🇸

Today, Wyoming for Heroes had the honor of joining a Veteran Honor Guard at a historic WWII site of a B-24 Liberator crash outside of Casper, Wyoming. Our tribute featured drummer Fred Rawling and pipers Paul Marquard and Matt Mitchell.

The aircraft was carrying servicemen connected to the Casper Army Air Base during WWII when it went down. Surrounded by the Wyoming landscape and pieces of history, we paid tribute with the sound of the pipes 🇺🇸🎶

We had a wonderful time celebrating America’s 250th anniversary at Casper’s Parade Day!

After several years without bagpipes in the parade, we were proud to bring them back this year. Thank you to everyone who came out and cheered us on. Events like Parade Day help us introduce more and more people to the existence and mission of Wyoming for Heroes. It’s always a privilege to be part of such a great community. 🇺🇸🎶💙
