Cary-Page Rotary Rotary is an organization of citizens providing humanitarian service and encouraging high ethical standards.

We meet Friday mornings at MacGregor Downs Country Club in Cary. We have started a Zoom/hybrid meeting format as of June, 2021. The Cary-Page Rotary Club was chartered in 1989 as the fifth Rotary Club in Cary, North Carolina. The club began with 25 members and today has more them 45 active members. The name for Cary-Page was derived from the Page Walker Hotel, which is a historical landmark in dow

ntown Cary. Consistently regarded as one of the most vibrant clubs in District 7710, Cary-Page has received the Presidential Citation of Excellence 14 times. In 2009 the Club was recognized as the outstanding service club in District 7710 based on not only the $60,000 we raised and donated back to the community but also our heavy contribution of personal service hours. In 2013 Cary Page was named the District 7710 Club of the Year.

Cary-Page Rotarians enjoyed a private tour of the North Carolina Governor’s Mansion, graciously led by former First Lady Kristin Cooper and her Chief of Staff, Greg Moore. The experience was both educational and inspiring, highlighting the mansion’s history, its beautiful interior, and the perfectly manicured gardens. One highlight was seeing a North Carolina loblolly pine grown from seeds that journeyed around the Moon on the Artemis I mission in 2022 and were presented to to Governor Roy Cooper by NASA astronaut and NC native Christina Koch.

Cary Page Rotarians proudly participated in District 7710’s 18th Annual MLK Day of Service Meal Packing Day Event-helping prepare 150,00 meals to combat hunger in North Carolina.

Food insecurity continues to be a serious challenge in our state, where 14% of residents and nearly 20% of children face hunger. This program brings together volunteers, community partners, and sponsors with a shared mission: to fight hunger and strengthen our communities.

A heartfelt thank you to Distrist Governor Elect Pat Gallagher and wife Vicki, Peg Hogan, Past District Governor Rick Carnagua, and Rick’s grandson Griffin for representing Cary-Page Rotary and supporting this important service project.
