Congratulations Rick Carnagua!!!!

What a wonderful surprise at this morning’s Cary-Page Rotary meeting! On behalf of North Carolina Governor Josh Stein, District 7710 Governor Pat Gallagher presented our Charter Member Rick Carnagua, with The Order of the Long Leaf Pine, one of North Carolina’s highest honors.

Rick’s wife Gail, family, friends, neighbors, church friends, and fellow Rotarians filled the room to standing-room-only capacity to celebrate this special moment with him. The Order recognizes individuals whose exceptional service and contributions have made a lasting difference in North Carolina. Rick’s commitment to Service Above Self knows no borders. As co-founder of Rotary District 7710 Dominion Republic project, his vision, leadership, and commitment have helped sustain 15 years of service trips and make a lasting impact on the communities served.

Please join the Cary-Page Rotary family in Congratulating Rick on this well-deserved and prestigious honor!!

Celebrating Rotary Service Above Self

Last Friday at Cary-Page Rotary Club, (Home of the District Governor 😉) District Foundation Chair Donna Peffley and District Governor Pat Gallagher recognized two of our club’s most generous supporters with Paul Harris Fellow recognition.

Bill Pogue- Paul Harris Fellow + 8

Suzanne Botts- Paul Harris Fellow Major Donor LEVEL 3

Through their generosity and commitment to The Rotary Foundation, lives are changed both in our local communities and around the world. Contributions to The Rotary Foundation support projects that provide clean water, improve maternal and child health, promote education, grow local economies, advance peace initiatives, and continue Rotary’s long-standing fight to eradicate polo worldwide.

Bill and Suzanne exemplify Rotary’s motto, Service Above Self, and their dedication helps make a lasting impact for people in need near and far.

Please join us in congratulating Bill and Suzanne on these well-deserved recognitions and thanking them for their extraordinary commitment to making a difference.

👏👏CONGRATULATIONS BILL AND SUZANNE!!!👏👏

Back-to-school season is here!!

Last night, Cary-Page Rotarians had the privilege of supporting 10 first-year teachers by providing classroom supplies and a $500 Amazon gift card for each to help prepare their classrooms for a successful school year.

A special thank you to Dr. Jill Jones of NC State University for helping identify eight first-year teachers serving the Cary area. We were also honored to support two first-year teachers in Western North Carolina.

This meaningful service project was paired with our annual Discover Rotary event, giving guests an opportunity to learn more about Rotary while making an immediate impact in our communities.

Thank you to all the Rotarians who brought guests and helped makes this event such a success. Together, we are investing in educators, students, and the future of our communities. ❤️👍
