Another bunch off thd street. A mama cat and her 3 kittens, the tiniest ones. 4 other kittens. It all starts with some irresponsible "owner" deciding they no longer want to care for their cat. Out she goes, litter after litter is born. Sadly there will always be animals dumped, left behind allowed to run loose, no vaccinations, not spayed or neutered. That will never end.

Our Livvy is out of surgery and headed home. She did fine. Livvy is the best kitten, purring away when she was brought out to us. We thank Dr. Francis and his team for taking care of Livvy, and also for the TLC. We sure hope this is the last prolapse she has. If you would like to donate to help with Livvy's bill, links are on the page. Thank you.

Pickle says "Not again". Our sweet little kitty Livvy is at the vet. She has pr*****ed again. Livvy was first at the vet for a pr*****ed re**um over Labor Day weekend. Saturday Sept 5 she had purse string surgery. It didn't hold and she was back again on Sunday the 6th for another purse string, but one going in a bit deeper. Livvy had the string removed on Sept 16. She was doing great until today. We headed to Little Rock and are waiting to see the vet. Jacey and Pickle are along too. They figured Chicago last Friday, might as well ride along to Little Rock this Friday. We will keep you posted on our little Livvy girl.

When we look at this picture we see way passed a momma and 8 puppies. We see a momma that will never bred again, along with 8 puppies that will never bred adding more to the animal street life.
Yesterday we worked hard to reset kennels giving more room for all the animals we are caring for. Fortunately we had one open kennel when we were done. That kennel is now home to mom and her puppies. Mom was living a dangerous life at her old location due to crossing the bypass looking for food.
Mom once had a owner that apparently did not care about her or her safety. It’s very frustrating to see so many roaming the streets along with owners not spaying or neutering. Fordyce along with tons of other cities are overwhelmed with the number of animals that have irresponsible owners leaving rescues to figure it out. We are mentally and physically exhausted daily yet get up the next morning to start all over again helping animals that have been let down by humans. People love to argue with us about spay/neuter stating it’s costly. Our answer is if you cannot afford to properly care for an animal then do not get one. Google is your friend when looking for low cost spay/neuter clinics or vouchers. All we can do is all we can do daily for the animal world. Mandy and Paula have dedicated 18 years of their life’s helping many animals, but we are tired, we are getting older, and health issues are slowing us down. Please do your part and help us continue our efforts.

Pickle has been so busy since returning home from transportation. She finally tried on her fake eyelashes that she STOLE while traveling. Of all things why would she think she needs eyelashes? She is so proud of them 😂. We will never know what goes through her mind.

We received a call about a momma dog that had puppies at a restaurant on the bypass in Fordyce . Thanks to the ACO of Fordyce for letting us know and helping save her. As you can see we had a small entrance to under the building but Paula was able to use a net to rescue the babies. Mom came out but slipped our leash. Ran to Paula’s for a trap and three hours later we are now headed to MMAR to get mom and 8 pups settled in. As the picture shows we took Larry with us on the rescue in our hearts. He’s looking down on us now saying girls slow those cars down and be safe.

We are super excited to let everyone know the Tahoe will be back home today. We can never express how much we appreciate all that helped us to get it back rolling. Without it we were lost when needing to pull our trailers for large items.
