The Nevada Police Foundation extends our deepest condolences to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and to the family, friends, and loved ones of Officer Austin Abdelnabi.

Officer Abdelnabi proudly served both his country as a United States Marine Corps veteran and his community as a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Officer.

On August 4, 2026, Officer Abdelnabi made the ultimate sacrifice while responding to a call to protect his community.

We join the law enforcement community across Nevada in honoring his life, his service, and his sacrifice. May his legacy live on through those who continue to wear the badge, and may his family, friends, and fellow officers find strength and comfort in the days ahead.

The Nevada Police Foundation extends its deepest condolences to the Reno Police Department and to the family, friends, and loved ones of Master Police Officer Lance Tindell.

For 18 years, Officer Tindell served the Reno community with dedication, courage, and compassion. His commitment to protecting others and mentoring fellow officers left a lasting impact on both his department and the community he faithfully served.

Today, we honor his service, remember his legacy, and stand beside the Reno Police Department as they mourn the loss of one of their own.
