A psychiatric nurse, DNP-PMHNP student, and community advocate, Melanie is passionate about mental health, wellness, education, and meaningful connections. Originally from Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, she brings her experience, dedication, and heart for service to the DFW area.

We’re truly pleased to have Melanie join PACCTX-GDFW and are excited to have her with us as we continue to build meaningful connections and opportunities together.

A little late, but still celebrating a wonderful NEXUS 2026! 🎉

From the ribbon-cutting by Mayor Terry Lynne for Farmers Branch to the morning sessions and panel discussion, it was a day filled with learning, connection, and meaningful conversations.

Some personal highlights were the keynote by Dr. Madeleine Burillo Hopkins, our engaging moderator and panel discussion: Tasnim McCormick Benhalim, Cassandra Garcia Hernandez, Cassandra Hatfield for CFB School Board, John Mahalik, Raymund King, Deniz Kustu, and the presentation of the Schwab Bank Outstanding Entrepreneur to Jojo Villanueva and Outstanding Professional, Dr. Raymund King, MD (and JD).

These photos capture only part of the day - many of our vendors, exhibitors, and volunteers are not pictured - but each played an important role in making NEXUS 2026 a success.
