🎉 We're thrilled to announce that Carroll County's own Mississippi John Hurt will be inducted in the The MAX - The Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience Hall of Fame, ceremony in January 2027. Mississippi John Hurt Foundation

We are excited to announce the Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Hall of Fame class of 2026-2027, which features five legendary artists who reinforce a truth known around the world: Mississippi is the Birthplace of America’s Music.

Don’t forget the Bake sale for Evergreen Cemetery tomorrow at 9 am. Homemade Sourdough bread $8 a loaf or 2/$10. Chocolate chip muffins 4/$8. Frozen par-baked dinner rolls 9/$9 (Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes). These will be at the corner at Gee’s Store across from Town Hall, along with cakes, sausage balls and other goodies, just in time for Mother’s Day weekend!
