Join us for an afternoon of community, creativity, connection, and healing at the Pro Bono Counseling Network Mental Health Awareness Fundraiser on Sunday, May 31st from 2-5pm at the Arts Center in Carrboro.
Come sip, nibble, craft, connect, and contribute while supporting expanded access to mental health care across North Carolina.
The afternoon will include opportunities for artmaking and community connection, followed by a moving short documentary, Rhythms of Healing, exploring the therapeutic and community-building value of drum circles in reducing isolation and supporting emotional wellbeing.
After the film, participants will be invited into an experiential drumming experience together.
This event is about more than fundraising. It is about building community in the face of isolation and creating spaces where people can feel seen, connected, creative, and supported.
PBCN continues to grow in response to urgent community needs, expanding counseling access and developing new group offerings across North Carolina through the work of volunteer therapists, coordinators, students, and community partners.
Everyone is welcome. Come to connect, create, drum together, support mental health access, and spend time in a welcoming space.
