CarmelOwls.org is dedicated to the installation of Great Horned Owl platforms in the Monterey Peninsula cities through the identification of suitable trees, canvassing local residents, building the owl platforms then installing them with a cherry picker.

When a cherry picker or boom truck can’t reach your suitable Great Horned Owl platform tree as it’s perhaps in your back yard, consider hiring a third-party tree service company to install it for you.

I’m soaring overhead when I see hundreds of people participating in the Carmel by the Sea evacuation drill on 5/30/26.

Wonderful teamwork! Why not first remove the hazardous fuel from Pescadero Canyon that is the cause of all these activities?

While an orderly evacuation is truly commended, Carmel by the Sea will still be reduced to toxic cinders
