Healing begins when people are given the space, tools, and support to be seen, heard, and empowered.

It was an honor to facilitate a Healing Circle with the incredible women of House of Ruth & Naomi. Together, we explored healthy ways to identify emotions, process experiences, and build practical tools for healing and self-expression.

One participant shared, “These are powerful tools for me to use because sometimes I don’t have the words to say and feel trapped inside.”

That reminder stayed with me. Sometimes healing doesn’t start with having all the answers—it starts with having a safe space to name what you’re carrying.

Thank you to House of Ruth & Naomi for the vital work you do every day to provide safe housing, empower women and families, foster independence, and help create pathways toward stability and hope.

Every story matters. Every step forward matters. Every person deserves the opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive. ✨

What an awesome group of girls! ✨ Brittany, our amazing facilitator, led the girls and their parents through a fun science experiment to discover their unique hair porosity and density. 🧬Using our handy take-home guides, everyone learned exactly which products are best suited for their specific hair type.

To top it off, the girls left with some fabulous free goodies, including Mielle hair oil (from a private donor) and stickers & t-shirts courtesy of The Indianapolis Foundation! ✨This empowering workshop was proudly hosted in celebration of Women’s History Month! 💜💪🏾

In some cases, self-sufficiency can be helpful case by case like a survival situation. However, self sufficiency has been promoted as hyper independent and in result robs us from opportunity for connection, unity, and support. We were never called to be self sufficient and yet, for some of us, it has become our high. We need God and we need community. Subscribe to read my latest newsletter blog every 1st of the month. Thank you! 🤎

Hey you?! Stop and take a read. Have your heart been feeling heavy? Does your spirit feel convicted or guilty? Take a moment to think about the sin you’ve committed or still choosing to do and repent.

What’s biblical repentance? Changing one’s mind and heart about the sin in your life. Then, choose to walk with Jesus (not your sin)—trusting Him to free you day by day and bring Him glory.

To learn more about repentance, DM us on Instagram, message us on Facebook, or email us from our website in our bio:)✨
