Accepting dress donations NOW! Hello and welcome to our page! The idea took off and grew quickly.

Dress donations accepted at: Bella Rose Bridal, Empire Coffee in Superior, and the Cloquet Pack n Mail If the Dress Fits was started by Ashleigh Arntson and her mother Amy. They took the idea of helping teens in the northland find an affordable, yet stylish gown for prom and created the organization. In November of 2016 If the Dress Fits became a Minnesota nonprofit. ing a well-kept and recent dress within the past 4 years please drop off at Bella Rose Bridal (1709 Mall DR, Duluth) and Blue Arrow Boutique (1404 Tower AVE, Superior). Donations can be brought to either of these locations durning their business hours. If you're in need of a dress please see our website to book your personal dress appointment today! These appointments are only for high school teens attending prom.

On Thursday the dresses were picked up and brought to their new home with Northwoods! After 9 years of always having hundreds of dresses, it felt a bit odd saying goodbye to them. The goodbye is easier though when we know they are going to such great hands!

Lots of emotions today as we wrapped up our final appointments. It had made me think back to when we first started and how amazed I was that half my closest was filled with prom dresses. Little did we know it would continue for 9 years and we would one day have our own dress garage. Feel so blessed to be a part of this amazing project with my mom and for all the incredible people we’ve met because of it. If the Dress Fits has such a large spots in our hearts and today that is certainly felt. Thank you all for your support and love!
We will share more in the coming weeks on our plan for the inventory.

That’s a wrap on our last Saturday!

Quick update: #1 question we’ve had is if have we found someone to take over…we had 8 serious inquiries. We feel so blessed to have a hard decision to make and the community is fortunate to have folks that want to keep it here. More info to come in the next month.
