The LLK Foundation

The LLK Foundation The LLK Foundation honors Karson Estilette, who passed away at 18 in a motorcycle accident. His selfless decision of organ donation has saved 4 lives.

We’re raising funds for LOPA and a scholarship in Karsons name. Live with kindness—Love Like Karson.❤️🦋

On May 13, 2026, the LLK Foundation was honored to award two $2,000 engineering scholarships to two outstanding seniors from David Thibodaux STEM Magnet Academy.

These scholarships were created in memory of Karson Scott Estilette, Class of 2024, whose passion for engineering, learning, and helping others continues to inspire us every day. Karson was pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at UL Lafayette with dreams of becoming an aeronautical engineer before his tragic passing in September 2024.

The recipients selected truly reflected Karson’s ambitions, determination, character, and love for engineering. It means so much to our family to see his legacy continue through students who share the same passion and goals that Karson carried so proudly.

The LLK Foundation — Love Like Karson — was created to continue the kindness, compassion, and giving spirit that defined Karson’s life. Seeing these scholarships awarded reminds us that his light is still making a difference.

Congratulations to Adrian Curelariu and Forest Begnaud. We know Karson would be proud.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the LLK Foundation and helped us continue Karson’s mission to love, serve, and give back.

Today was all about appreciation ❤️

We hosted a volunteer lunch to celebrate the incredible people who give their time and heart to make everything we do possible. Instead of working, we got to slow down, enjoy each other’s company, and just hang out—which was long overdue.

We were also honored to present a $2,000 donation to LOPA during the lunch. Being able to give back like this, together, makes it all even more meaningful.

To our volunteers—thank you for everything you do. We truly couldn’t do it without you. 🫶

We are still overwhelmed by the love and support shown at the LLK Benefit yesterday. What started as something we hoped would bring people together turned into something more beautiful than we ever imagined.

Seeing so many faces, so much kindness, and so much generosity in one place meant more than words can truly express. It was emotional, it was powerful, and it reminded us just how many people carry Karson in their hearts.

To all the incredible bands who shared their time and talent, the volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, the gumbo cook-off participants who brought both the flavor, and the gumbo judges who took on the tough but delicious job, Louisiana Jeepers for showing up and supporting, and every single person and business who donated items for the auction — thank you. You helped create something unforgettable.

And to everyone who showed up, supported, donated, hugged us, and stood beside Karson’s family — we felt every bit of that love.

Karson is deeply missed, but moments like this remind us that his light continues to shine through all of you.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. ❤️
