Looking for a Best Friend?
We have three amazing dogs — Ren, Onna, and Scout — each with their own unique story, personality, and charm. All three have shown incredible resilience and heart despite their rough beginnings. They’re friendly, loving, and ready to find homes where they can truly thrive. Whether you’re looking for a playful and goofy companion, a sweet and social best friend, or a gentle young pup who just needs patience to blossom, one of these dogs could be the perfect match for you.
Ren
*Neutered male | 1 year | 40 lbs | Medium build
*A curious and affectionate boy with adorable upright ears that give him a rabbit-like charm.
*Loves people, bonds deeply, and is eager to please — he thrives on companionship and playtime.
*Has been in foster care for two months and is making great progress with training and socialization.
*Best as the only dog in the home, though he is manageable with cats.
*Playful, smart, and ready to continue learning with a family who can provide consistency and structure.
Onna
*Spayed female | 1 year 10 months | 40 lbs | Medium build
*Friendly, social, and affectionate — she adores people and other dogs.
*Not cat-safe, but thrives in the company of dogs and responds beautifully to training.
*Found roaming the streets, she ran right up to the Animal Control officer and rolled over for belly rubs — proof of her trusting, people-loving nature.
*Playful, sunny personality and eager to be part of a family again.
*In foster care for two months and doing wonderfully with her training.
Scout
*Female puppy | 6 months | 25 lbs (will likely be medium when fully grown)
*Resilient and gentle despite a heartbreaking start: found locked in a garage with a deceased dog.
*When rescued, she wagged her tail softly and looked up with wide, hopeful eyes — a silent plea for kindness.
*Excellent with other dogs and comes alive when around them; they give her confidence and joy.
*With people, she can be shy at first and occasionally shows “stranger danger,” but she is learning quickly.
*Sweet, adaptable, and smart — with patience and encouragement, she will blossom into a loyal, devoted companion.
