How can we simplify our needs enough that we don’t need to salve at an undesirable job? Make a list of needs as well as joys. Are they all bought with money ? Or Does money buy you happiness? Why are the poorest people in the world more happy statistically than the richest? Does money buy LOVE? I got to spend the weekend in the BackHome Magazine booth answering questions about all things off grid and this reenergized my joy of living off grid and my desire to share my knowledge. Many thanks to all the people, exhibitors, and speakers who attended and suported the 1st Annual Southern Green Living Expo in Asheville, NC this weekend. The Expo was well attended and a lot of good information was shared. BackHome had a special treat in sharing a booth space with Aur da energy man Beck of Advanced Energy Solutions, who was available to answer people's questions about PV and renewable energy systems all weekend. And, we were right across the aisle from the Jack Martin, Ken Clayton, and Keith Gaines, all with the Triad Electric Vehicle Association, which put out a great display of electic vehicles for the weekend (along with the Asheville City Police Dept's Chevy Volt! chief tech Aur is and at Backhome magazine booth as a 'Chat w/an Expert' all weekend.
