Last night in Orlando, the ECSN News team received its highest honor in its history from the Florida Scholastic Press Association In its first season, the Sentinel Surge monthly sports show received an All Florida Award as one of the best student broadcasts in the state. Additionally, it also received a Sunshine Standout Award, which is awarded to only 10% of the All Florida Award winners! The team, lead by senior Executive Producer Lauren Taylor and sophomore Assistant Executive Producer Chayce Gorton attended the annual State conference and workshop and competed in multiple competitions over the last two day. More awards will be announced next week!

Zach Stubing was named this year's Salutatorian and has been instrumental in the success of Video Production, been involved in ECS Swim and Dive team, Student Government, and Mock Trial.
