CCCO Musicians Making Waves!

Please join us in congratulating CCCO violinists Emma Powell on her new role as concertmaster of The New Bedford Symphony, and Sophia Szokolay as CCCO's Director of Communications 🎉.....................
A Boston-based violinist, Emma Powell is recognized for her versatility as a chamber musician, orchestral leader, and collaborative artist. She performs throughout New England as a member of the Rasa String Quartet, Oko harp trio, Cape Cod Chamber Orchestra, and Boston Festival Orchestra, where her musicianship and commitment to musical storytelling have distinguished her as both a performer and curator......................
Since joining CCCO as a violinist in 2021 and later as Media Coordinator in 2023, Sophia Szokolay has worked closely with Matt to strengthen the orchestra's marketing strategy and streamline internal operations. Sophia will lead all aspects of the orchestra's branding, marketing, public relations, and digital engagement while continuing to support organizational planning and audience development.
